Up-and-coming performers are hand-picked to perform their first solo or cabaret show under the guidance of Paul L Martin, director of Excess All Areas, with Claire Platt on Sunday February 22nd.
Emily Davis gives us more tales from the life of a Welsh girl in London, mostly under the theme of how not to live your life! An evening of songs reflecting her appalling decision making skills. They may not lead to success and glory (yet!), but do provide a few laughs along the way. There’ll also be a chance for someone in the audience to win a prize or two…
Paul L Martin presents is an opportunity for emerging performers to be supported as they learn the nuts and bolts of putting on their own work, from liaising with the venue to managing ticket sales. All shows take place at The Pheasantry, the new incarnation of legendary Pizza on the Park, placing each performer firmly in the tradition of London’s finest musical cabaret.
“a great turn-out and a fab atmosphere” Helen Goldwyn
“has definitely given me the cabaret bug” Steph Parry
“thank you so much for getting us there” Bethany Jameson
