Up-and-coming performers are hand-picked to perform their first solo or cabaret show under the guidance of Paul L Martin, director of Excess All Areas, with Claire Platt on Sunday February 22nd.

Meet Claire Platt, an incompetent soprano. Incompetent at life, not singing! Take a tour through the life of one of London’s rising cabaret artists. Hear about her inability to cope with the simple things in life shared through song and chat but not dance, definitely not dance. Claire trained as an opera singer before spurning that glamorous life to try her hand at the glamorous life of musical theatre.

Paul L Martin presents is an opportunity for emerging performers to be supported as they learn the nuts and bolts of putting on their own work, from liaising with the venue to managing ticket sales. All shows take place at The Pheasantry, the new incarnation of legendary Pizza on the Park, placing each performer firmly in the tradition of London’s finest musical cabaret.
